Paradis College

Currriculum Cambridge

The Cambridge primary school curriculum-Cambridge Primary- is for pupils between 5 and 11 years old. Following this curriculum, Paradis College students become more confident, responsible, innovative and involved.

Cambridge primary involves the compulsory study of three subjects: English, Mathematics and science.
The content of these classes is very well put and structured to provide a balanced curriculum, which at the same time, can fit into the national, cultural and school ethos.

The assessment of the knowledge acquired at Cambridge primary is done by applying internationally set tests, called – Progression tests– that are hold at the end of the school year, starting with second grade.

These tests are applied and evaluated by teacher in the school, respecting the scales sent by Cambridge International Examinations. These tests can generate reports that show the evolution of each student over the years of study of this type of curriculum, and show the strengths and weaknesses, so they can be used
for the permanent improvement of education.

The primary cycle ends according to the Cambridge structure at the end of the 5 th grade, when students take the Cambridge primary Checkpoint exams, which are held in school, but are evaluated by a specialist at Cambridge International Examination.

Welcome message from the manager

When I founded the educational project I called Paradis, back in 2005, I was already experienced in education and I had felt for quite some time the need for a drastic change of paradigm in education. This need became acute when I became a mother. Thus, I created an educational environment where the activity of live learning is centered on the child as a whole, the main and constant focus being to maintain the child’s curiosity to know and explore the world, to make sure they are happy, motivated and their personality is shaped harmoniously.
