Prisms VR is the first intuitive spatial learning platform founded in the USA in 2020 that allows students to perceptually experience a real-world context, creates an innovative and exciting learning environment that will facilitate their engagement and future success in STEM This project is supported by the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health in the United States, and project partners include Boston Public Schools, the New York Department of Education, and MiTek.
Paradis International College is the first school in Europe to benefit from this digital platform.
Prisms VR is used at Paradis International College in most maths classes (as well as other subjects) and helps students to understand math concepts more deeply, removing distractions through complete immersion in the subject matter and sparking the student’s curiosity for further learning. As a result of these experiences, students ask better questions and have more meaningful mathematical discussions with their peers and teachers because it is known that students remember only 30% of what they see, 20% of what they hear, and 90% of what what they experience.
