The American Adventure of High School Students from Paradis International College

Paradis High School students learned the secrets of business during a Round Square exchange in the United States of America, at the Hackley School in Terrytown, New York. The 12 students’ program included a private tour of one of the world’s largest stock exchanges, Nasdaq, participation in a stock listing ceremony and a workshop at the Broadway advertising agency – Spotco, discussions with entrepreneurs, as well as authentic experiences such as The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze, sports games and cultural performances.

On their American adventure, our students also enjoyed the Northern Lights.

Activities at the world’s second largest bank – Goldman Sachs, a tour of the United Nations and meetings with special guests from the Federal Reserve Bank, UN Women, Modern Picnic or Macy’s – all completed the Paradis high school students’ program. Our students were also delighted by the Broadway musical “The Great Gatsby”, visits to Rockefeller Center, the American Museum of Natural History and Madame Tussauds, and walks in Central Park.
