Our middle school students had the joy of walking the historical trail “Heroes on Parallel Fronts”, set up in a protected natural area in the forest and meadows of Mârzești. The initiator of the project, Dr. Marius Chelcu, a scientific researcher at the “A. D. Xenopol” Institute of History, was their guide in this open-air museum where the traces of the armed clashes of the Second World War are still visible. The participating parents and students had the opportunity to find out new information about the history of Iași, to connect with nature and to spend their quality time together to get to know each other better.
