The Paradis community’s dearest project, “Tansa – a Land of Story”, got a new lease of life thanks to our guests from Germany who volunteered to help us rehabilitate a well, paint the tiled floor of the Tansa Village Museum and make bird houses. The students and teachers from the Gut Warnberg School in Munich worked as a team with their colleagues from Paradis and the ones from the Tansa Secondary School, showing great commitment, enthusiasm and respect for our authentic traditions. In the quiver of memories there were also fairy-tale encounters with local people, including the 102 year old Mrs. Maria, a visit to the memorial house of the former teacher Aurel Dascălu and a fascinating wagon ride through the village. Congratulations to everyone!
