Since 2017, Paradis International College has proudly organized the “Nikola Tesla” Interactive Science Festival—an annual event designed to inspire students to explore the natural world through hands-on, interdisciplinary learning. By blending theory with practical experience, the festival enhances students’ ability to apply scientific concepts and communicate their reasoning effectively.
Over the years, students have showcased a wide range of fascinating experiments and scientific projects for all ages. These have included elephant toothpaste, water flames, magnetic magic, cosmic musical chords, sensory gardens, pulley systems, 3D printing, electric circuits, green energy solutions, hydrogen-powered vehicles, and even an ECG smart device for predicting cardiovascular diseases linked to arrhythmia—among many others.
Each year, we are honored to welcome distinguished leaders in science who inspire our community. Past guests have included: Alexandru Mironov – Professor, writer, and science TV/radio producer; Cătălin Beldea – Astronomer; Dr. Bogdan Iliescu – Neurosurgeon; Cristian Presură – Physicist; Vladimir Martinuș – Mathematician; Silviu Gurlui – Physicist; Adrian Stoica – NASA expert; Mark Miodownik – Professor at UCL; Emily Penn – Environmental activist; Bettina Hohman – Clinical psychologist; Rachael Livermore – Astrophysicist.
The “Nikola Tesla” Interactive Science Festival continues to be a highlight of our academic year, fostering curiosity, innovation, and a passion for discovery in our students.
