Our History

Paradis International College story is about confidence and courage.

Confidence that quality education comes first and it is done with love for children and that when you believe in an ideal, nothing can stop you.

The courage to walk the untrodden paths, to enjoy these challenging journeys, to take on the mission of shaping the children of the future destiny.

October 2005
The preschool level is authorized under the name  Paradis Kindergarten. As valuable essences are kept in small containers, the story of Paradis was born in a small cottage in the lime blossom-scented Copou, where the first kindergarten group was opened.
October 2008
The primary level is authorised, under the name of Paradis Primary School, by Order of the Minister of Education No. 5541/01.10.2008.
September 2010
It begins the journey of knowledge for the first generation of Paradis students, the Generation Winners.
2011
Strategic meeting with Mandy Johanson, manager of Newlands Seaford School, UK, on the occasion of an experience exchange attended by first and second graders and teachers from Paradis School.
2012
Strategic meeting with Graham Best, manager of St John's College Portsmouth, UK.
May 2013
Accreditation of the preschool level of Paradis Primary School Iași, by Order of the Minister of Education No. 4020/29.06.2013.
March 2014
The middle school level of Paradis School is accredited by Order of the Minister of Education No. 3635/19.06.2014, and the institution changes its name to Paradis Middle School.
June 2014
Strategic meeting with Zachary Worrall, Deputy Headteacher at St John's College Junior School at Paradis School.
June 2014
Paradis School Anthem has been launched.
December 2014
The school has moved to a new location in the IDEO building.
May 2015
The primary level of Paradis Middle School is accredited by Order of the Minister of Education no. 5208/11.09.2015.
June 2015
Paradis School receives Cambridge accreditation from Cambridge Assessment International Education.
December 2016
The school moved to a new building at 2M Iancu Flondor Street.
May 2017
First edition of "Nikola Tesla" Interactive Science Festival and inauguration of "Nikola Tesla" Interactive Science Laboratory.
October 2017
Visit of His Royal Highness Prince Radu of Romania.
March 27th 2018
start of partnership with Alexander Mironov; Paradis School becomes a satellite of Science and Technology Magazine.
May 30th 2018
Paradis International School becomes an international leadership school (integration of the international Leader in Me program).
November 2018
Paradis International School becomes a member of the international organization Round Square.
January 2019
Validation of the creative school best practice model: Paradis International School participates in the International Conference of Round Square School Principals in Europe.
March 2019
Presentation at Our Changing Environment Conference, Ireland, as a model of good practice, Green School - Paradis International School, a creative-innovative school.
May 2019
Authorisation of the first Cambridge High School in Moldova.
July 2019
The first edition of the Tansa Volunteer School takes place, as part of the project "Tansa – A Land of Stories".
September 2019
Paradis International College delegation participates in the Round Square Global Conference organised by The Emerald Heights International School, Indore, India, along with over 700 students and 300 teachers from 157 schools in 33 countries around the world.

Paradis International College is registered in the Special Register of Educational Provider Organizations that organize and carry out, on the territory of Romania, educational activities corresponding to an educational system of another country.

A delegation of students and teachers from Paradis International College is visiting Junior High School of Kogakuin University, Japan, as part of the Bridge Over Time and Culture project.

The secondary school level, theoretical stream, real profile, specialization in Natural Sciences, in Romanian and English (bilingual), full-time education, is authorized by Order of the Minister of Education No 5156/24.07.2023, and the institution will change its name to Paradis High School.
August 2023
The school moved to its new and modern building at 8C Dealul Zorilor Street, Rediu.
