Australia 2026 – “Visions of the Future from an Ancient Land” – the place where Paradis high school students serve as Romania’s ambassadors on the global stage of education, bringing together 1,200 students from over 150 schools around the world at the 2026 Round Square International Conference. These days, the Barker College campus in Sydney is a true living laboratory of internationalism, leadership, and friendships that transcend borders, and Paradis students are fully enjoying collaborative workshops, community projects, and memorable adventures in the Blue Mountains. Dear students, congratulations on another inspiring multicultural experience at a conference celebrating 60 years of Round Square!
Our Paradis students are following their mission to spread throughout the world the ancestral heritage that is woven into our Romanian DNA. During the cultural performance evenings, the Romanian dances were applauded by everyone. “It’s hard to put into words my gratitude for the beauty of our traditions and for the way our children carry them forward, making them part of their lives! I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the preschool and elementary school teachers who instill these values in them from an early age, as well as to the high school teachers who know how to nurture these skills in their students to create memorable moments,” said Oana Mihaela Albu, founder of Paradis International College at the Round Square International Conference currently taking place in Australia.
The event concluded in grand style with a ceremony at the Rosewood Centre and a traditional “Aussie Bush Dance” party, where music, dance, and laughter transformed cultural diversity into one big community. Our students left Australia with experiences that will stay with them for a long time, with new ideas, friends across borders, and the inspiration to turn what they discovered there into projects that will come to life at Paradis. Dear students, congratulations on another inspiring multicultural experience at a conference celebrating 60 years of Round Square!
