Since 2014, Rediscover the City of Iași has been a unique project at Paradis, where we introduce our city and its surroundings in an innovative way. Our students take on the role of mini-guides, showing tourists—whether fellow students, teachers from other towns, or international guests—around the city.

The project highlights two special tourist and historical routes: The Path of the Grand Beginnings and The Path of the Hidden Treasures. These tours, organized each year by our fifth graders, provide an exciting way to explore Iași. We are proud that our secondary and high school students are able to lead these tours in both Romanian and English.

This project not only offers our students the chance to develop public speaking skills and information analysis but also fosters a spirit of volunteering and active participation in democracy. Students learn the importance of promoting and appreciating their city, while strengthening their sense of community and local pride.
