He began his career writing what he calls “incomprehensible poems,” meant to challenge the reader. When he’s not writing, he performs as the vocalist of a rock band. He believes in the power of big dreams and says that literature demands not only talent but also perseverance, discipline, and the ambition to never give up. During a FILIT 2025 session, poet and literary critic Șerban Axinte spoke candidly with Paradis High School students, encouraging them to trust themselves and stay authentic, because only by doing so will they discover their true path in life.
